Lawn Art With Neighbors

L.A.W.N. Raleigh 2023 is a community creativity and connection experience where all Raleighites are invited to create and display or perform art of any kind on a patch of grass that’s viewable to people passing by April 29 – May 7.

Create a fun art project with your kids or friends for the front yard. Gather neighbors together to create something for a common area in your subdivision or apartment complex. Unleash creativity on your balcony (your concrete lawn) or on a patch of grass in front of your business. Gather your friends at college and create something for the quad. You’ll find inspo ideas here.

Register your project and we’ll add it to the map below. Let’s see what you’ve got Raleighites — be flamazing!

L.A.W.N. is the ultimate “grass roots” experience.

When people get so wrapped up in their online world that they lose perspective and connection, others tell them to “go touch grass” — to get out and interact with the real world. L.A.W.N. is taking that advice literally for one week with a public art experience that’s open to all Raleigh residents. We hope you join in!
